Bri, a New York wallflower, is a creator, strategist, and gatherer of perspectives and individuals alike. As the Founder and Director of the SLAPcollective, she found her purpose in the arts and organizing. Encouraging the exploration and expression of self through creative practices, Bri is a conscious curator of resources and experiences. She activates unifying spaces that garner collective dialogues and build community through artistry.
Erin has been working in cellular agriculture since 2014, when she started out at as one of New Harvest's first volunteers while completing a Juris Doctor at the University of Alberta, Canada. Erin's long-held interests in futurism, sustainability, global catastrophic risk mitigation - and love of food - led her to the discovery of animal products made without animals.
Carlos Armando García is a Latino serial entrepreneur with 15 years of financial technology experience working on Wall Street and building his own companies. His life mission is to support underserved communities to close the retirement gap in our country. More recently, he founded Finhabits, the first bilingual digital retirement platform that helps people get into the habit of investing for their future. Carlos has a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from MIT.
Cyrus E. Dugger is the Principal of The Dugger Law Firm, PLLC. He has represented employees in employment discrimination and wage and hour litigation against numerous employers, including class and collective actions against major U.S. corporations and governmental entities (including Goldman Sachs & Co., The Kirby Company, Save-A-Lot, PricewaterhouseCoopers, The New York City Department of Education, and the Connecticut Department of Correction).
Julissa Contreras the creator of the YouTube hit “Shit Spanish Girls Say” and creator of the “Ladies Who Bronche” podcast. Julissa is a playwright, actor, director, and current member of Rattlestick Playwright’s Theater’s apprentice company The Middle Voice. Julissa has also worked in the nonprofit industry for over 10 years both in theatrical and youth development capacities and continues to bridge the two worlds to create dialogue and art that reflects society's overlooked voices.
